Chateau Lamothe Bouscaut is located in the village of Cadaujac and dates back to the 12th century. In 1999 it was acquired by its neighbour, Château Bouscaut, owned by Sophie Lurton and Laurent Cogombles.

The vines are grown on deep gravelly soils and are on average 35 years old. The vineyards are sustainably managed and pruning is carried out by hand by five vineyard workers.

The bunches of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are pressed and the juice is partially racked and chilled for 24 hours. Afterwards it is transferred to barrels, of which 30% are new oak where it is vinified on its fine lees. After fermentation, the wine is aged for eight months in oak with batonnage taking place once a month.
